Shepheards Holyday or Labour in Vaine

Lead up a double and back, cross over. Lead down a double and back, Cross over.	First man slip before the second man, while the first woman slip before the second woman. Last man slip behind the second man, while the last woman slip behind the second woman. Then all six turn round about to the left hand into their places. Then the last couple do as the first and the first as the last.
Side all, cross over. That again.	Men and women back a double, joining hands meet. Men hands and go round, women doing the like. Men and women back as before and meet, hands backward and go round as before.
Arm all as you sided.	First man cross into the second woman's place, his woman into the second man's place. And so to the last.
